<p>
	Hi all, *** CHANGE OF ROUTE PLAN ***
</p>

<p>
	Looking to ride this Sunday, meeting at Erskine Bridge for 0930, head to Rest and be Thankful, inland at Strachur, Down via Loch Eck and home via Dunoon ferry and back to bridge? I've only done this route once and i'm not that familiar with Argyll but can follow my nose and find my way. If a big group isn't interested than that's cool, I can stay more local and solo something big regardless. Cheers
</p>

<p>
	*** Morning all. Given that the Rest and Be thankful/Loch Eck route has been done by the club recently, the new plan for Sunday is to meet at West Ferry Jetty, either 0930/1000/1015 depending on who is interested v cycle time to get there and head South and West from Dunoon round the peninsula. Tommy D can lead the way but we'll likely end up with 80-100k ridden on the peninsula. Hope that suits for a few folk. Weather is dry and a decent double-digit temp. Thanks ***

<p>
	Hi All main bunch or fast longer bunch.
</p>

<p>
	With the current drive to posting runs on watts app , it would appear that the traditional Sunday run has died a death, with a fairly large group riding on Saturdays , they subsequently post short recovery rides on Sundays which seems to be driving the last few nails into the Sunday run . So what’s the thoughts on the main bunch , is Saturday the new Sunday if not what has happened to the Sunday run. IMO it’s dead , evidences for this is nothing is posted, it’s always very last minute, rarely posted on here , and if posted on WhatsApp some one usually posts over the original ride so it becomes a confusing chain of nonsense.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	The first of our club confined events begins on Sunday, the weather has traditionally been rather excellent for each run resulting in an amazing turnout of club members.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	We begin with the Tour of Renfrewshire 40 miles of gentle inclines and amazing scenery.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	If you are not already aware the club is reviewing what we do with the confined events.  After feedback from members the reliability rides will remain unchanged.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	All of the rides start and finish at the club rooms on Miller Street.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	Can we have a key holder to open up prior to the first ride departing.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	The first group will leave at 0900, the second group at 0930 and the last<span> </span>group at 0945.  Please indicate which group you intend joining to ensure you have company for the ride.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	The route is on the link below but it is helpful if someone is on each group who knows the route.
</p>

</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	All donations of food for afterwards are gratefully accepted.  There is enough for quite a hearty feast if everyone brings something for at least one of the four rides.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	While using our club rooms again we need to be mindful of current covid restrictions, as if using a cafe.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	-can we have a contact list for everyone
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	-face coverings when moving around
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	-you may not attend if you have tested positive or are showing symptoms

	Rescheduled from September, we will be meeting at Amaretto’s in Bridge of Weir, riders will set of in mixed capability groups round the coast to Largs, first bunch off at 09:30. The route will be up the cycle track to Port Glasgow, over the wall and down the Whin, then round the coast from there, riding at the pace of the slowest rider in the bunch. Sufficient numbers should<span> </span>see multiple groups of 12 to 16 riders, around 5 minutes apart. Once we know the numbers, it’s probably a good idea to let the Bagel Basket know that a number of cyclists will be turning looking for sustenance.

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#474747;font-size:14px;">
	After the Bagel Basket, riders are welcome to revert to their normal groups and choose their own route back to home or Amaretto’s.

<p>
	26th September sees our first planned Whole club run of the year. Meeting at Amaretto’s in Bridge of Weir, riders will set of in mixed capability groups round the coast to Largs, first bunch off at 09:30. The route will be up the cycle track to Port Glasgow, over the wall and down the Whin, then round the coast from there, riding at the pace of the slowest rider in the bunch. After the Bagel Basket, riders are welcome to revert to their normal groups and choose their own route back to home or Amaretto’s.
</p>

<p>
	I will need a number of bunch leaders on the day to keep the bunches together. I will not be attending this ride as I’m away for a week.
</p>

<p>
	I am also aware that this is the September weekend, and large numbers may be away, so if there is a strong preference, I am happy to slide this run to 10th October.
